We previously mentioned that Levi is the interinclusive tribe. As the musicians and caretaker of the vessels of the Temple he was not given any specific territory. Rather some land from each tribe was apportioned to Levi allowing them to dwell among all of Israel. Thus the dimension of Levi affects all of the people of Israel. His music served to refine all of the dimensions balancing all the limbs of the body.
The authentic music of the Leviim, that which we are trying to reclaim, draws from within, above and beyond the unified center of the cube, and emanating outward, penetrating all directions of the created world and connecting all of the disparate parts with the united center.
Music coming from this pure place of unity accompanies one in the dance of life, restoring movement to disconnected limbs which are stiffened by fear of life, depression or anger. The music of the Leviim restores the soul to those inactive limbs that have temporarily resigned from life.
In this painting, by struggling to find one's connection with the Leviim, one reclaims his or her personal malchut (king/queenship) renewing one's stance in life.
